Located in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India, CECRI has been the nation's nodal center for electrochemical research and development for over seven decades.
Our institute is committed to pursuing fundamental and applied research in electrochemical science and engineering, with a mission to develop innovative technologies that address national challenges in energy, environment, corrosion protection, and industrial processes.
CECRI houses state-of-the-art laboratories, pilot plants, and testing facilities, staffed by over 200 scientists, engineers, and technical personnel. We maintain strong collaborations with academic institutions, industries, and research organizations worldwide.
